TRACC Programme Management Board
Bringing Glasgow and Edinburgh closer together
The TRACC Programme Management Board (TPMB), consisting of leading academics with support from management/administration experts and elected student representatives, is responsible for the running of the programme including project and supervisor team selection, student selection, assignment of mentoring and thesis monitoring teams and post-qualification mentoring and support to maximise clinical academic retention. The TPMB is supported by the TRACC Programme Operations Team (TPOT). TPOT overviews the day-to-day running of TRACC and acts as a liaison between TPMB and the supervisor, mentoring and thesis monitoring teams. All supervisors are active cancer researchers with well-funded laboratories, and hold an academic position or a fellowship that extends for at least four years from the start of the PhD.
